Labour Day events can include workers rallies, street protests, marches, speeches, educational meetings on the history of the day and its meaning, and more. But for many, Labour Day is just a relaxing day off work to spend with friends and family.
Also, in New Caledonia, there are certain unrelated events that occur on or near Labour Day, that give people something to do with their day off.
