President’s Day 2025, 2026 and 2027 in Northern Mariana Islands
President’s Day is celebrated in the US commonwealth territory of Northern Mariana Islands (NMI) on the third Monday in February, as in the US itself and all its dependencies.

The day occurs on the birthday of the first US President, George Washington, but is meant today to include a tribute to Abraham Lincoln and even all US Presidents.
In NMI, Presidents Day is a welcome day off work, and creates a three-day weekend for many. This gives residents the opportunity to put on a barbecue at home or down at the local dock with friends and strangers alike.
Many in NMI feel that since they are at least partly under US jurisdiction and control, they should be allowed to vote in US Presidential and other elections, but alas, this is not now the case.
